About

I’m Casey Chevalier, a senior infrastructure and database engineer based in Colorado. I grew up in Ridgway and earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Boulder.

My career has centered on designing and operating reliable production systems, from traditional on-prem environments to modern AWS infrastructure. While I have deep experience in database platforms, I’m especially interested in the broader intersection of infrastructure, automation, and reliability, and in making complex systems easier to operate over time.

Outside of work, I play guitar and synth, bike around Colorado, cook (especially pizza), read history and sci-fi, and explore retro computing and gaming.
